TRTP Therapy

TRTP therapy online with Tracey McBeath, The Richards Trauma Process

What TRTP is

TRTP stands for The Richards Trauma Process. It’s a structured, three-step process for working with the things from our past that still shape how we feel, think and react today. It was created by Judith Richards, and you can read more on the official TRTP website.

Here’s what I love about TRTP therapy – you don’t have to dig through the past or relive any of it. TRTP works with what those experiences left behind, not the story of what happened.

A gentler way in

If the thought of going back over the past makes you want to run a mile, that’s okay! TRTP doesn’t ask you to retell your story or go through it all again.

We work with the patterns, beliefs and emotional reactions that keep showing up, and we do it step by step. And before we begin, we’ll have a chat to make sure TRTP is the right fit for you.

Why TRTP

In my coaching I kept seeing the same thing. So much of what we feel and do today was shaped long before we were old enough to choose it.

Insight can take us a long way. TRTP gives me another way to support you with what’s underneath.

Working with me

I’m a TRTP practitioner, and I work with you online over Zoom, wherever you are. If you’re curious, book a free call and ask me anything.

How a session works

I’ll walk you through exactly what to expect before we begin. [Tracey to supply number of sessions, length, what happens in a session, and how to prepare]

Is TRTP for you?

If something from the past still shows up in your body, your reactions or your relationships, and you’d like to work with it gently, let’s have a chat!

TRTP is not a replacement for medical or mental health care. If you’re in crisis, please contact your GP or call Lifeline on 13 11 14.

TRTP therapy online, from Melbourne and across Australia

I work with TRTP online, so you can do it from home, wherever you are in Melbourne, Victoria or Australia. All you need is a quiet spot, a decent internet connection and a cuppa if you like.

Working online means no travel and no waiting rooms. You get to be in a space that feels comfortable and safe to you, which matters when you’re doing something that can feel big.

What can TRTP help with?

TRTP is for anyone who notices old patterns, beliefs or emotional reactions that keep showing up. Maybe you feel anxious or on edge without knowing why, you’re hard on yourself, or you react in ways that don’t feel like the real you.

The Richards Trauma Process was created by Judith Richards to work with the lasting impact of past experiences, gently and without having to relive them. It sits alongside medical and mental health care, it doesn’t replace it. If you’re working with a doctor or psychologist, that support can continue while we work together.

TRTP and health and life coaching

Some people come to me for TRTP first, some for health and life coaching, and some for both. They work well together. TRTP works with what’s underneath, and coaching helps you build the habits and life you want on top of that.

You can read more about my background and training too, or book a free discovery call and we’ll talk it through.
